Sometimes a simple ‘how are you’ can be enough to encourage a conversation about somebody’s mental health and wellbeing. But sometimes it might take a little more.
The resources below have been designed to help you have conversations about mental health, including to colleagues you might be worried about. We have included a link to Mind Charity’s Wellness Action Plan, which is a great tool to share with staff, so that they can start to think about how they might talk about their own mental health and wellbeing.
We recognise that talking about your mental health, and having reflective conversations, can feel daunting so we recommend that you complete our free e-learning module linked to below: What's on your plate? Reflective conversations for education staff.
