Tackling the drivers of poor mental health and wellbeing
There are many factors within the school environment that are drivers to poor mental health and wellbeing amongst staff. Many of these are highlighted in the 2020 Teacher Wellbeing Index. Lack of control and influence, poor work/life balance, limited flexibility and lack of appreciation are often cited by teachers as areas that have a negative on their mental health.
Below we have provided a range of resources to help you think about how you can tackle these areas, including a webinar on appreciation chaired by Education Support’s CEO Sinéad McBrearty.
